Dearest,

Hopefully you are doing well and enjoying this festive month to the fullest, just like me! After a wonderful festival summer and a period of moving (from Amsterdam to Bussum), renovating and the first exciting weeks of my pregnancy, I have new energy again (now 14 weeks pregnant)! And of course I like to share that with my audience. This is what is planned for the near future:

• On Sunday, December 17, I will play my cello-singer-songwriter (EN) solo program during the “Friends of Vincent” concert series in the St Vincentius Church in Amsterdam (Jacob Van Lennepkade 211). Tickets are on donation basis. Usually between 10-20 euros is asked. Start time is 1:30 PM. You can come by spontaneously or reserve your spot via: vvvconcert@gmail.com. In addition to my set, Jeroen Sarphati will sing songs by Schubert. A nice combination. The concert lasts until approximately 3 p.m. Come by and enjoy this unique concert.
• In January 2024 I will play 10 evenings in the always pleasant Scala Theater in Amsterdam (van Hallstraat 286). It is a unique theater where you can eat delicious food and visit various 20-minute performances in one evening. I will be playing my musical performance “Thuis” there which means “Home”, consisting of a mix of old and new songs. The performance will be in Dutch, but can be in English on request! I will play 3 times per evening from January 10-14 and January 24-28. • I am also planning to work on a new project, my first solo album. I would like it to be a neo-classical album with my own compositions consisting of many cello layers, vocal choirs and piano inspired by the nature around us. I met producer and pianist Cedric Vermue and he got enthusiastic about a collaboration in this. It will probably be something different compared to the singer-songwriter songs you are used to from me. Can’t wait to start this new project in the new year!
