Hopefully everything is going well and you, like me, are glad to see the sun making an appearance now and then. Let’s hope for a beautiful and sunny spring!
Meanwhile, I’m in the process of finalizing my solo debut album, the neoclassical album I’ve mentioned before. The album is called “Natural” and was made in collaboration with producer and pianist Cedric Vermue. After the album’s release at the end of September, I’ll be starting my tour across the country. I’m busy organizing it, BUT I need your help with this.
Do you know a suitable venue for around 30 to 60 people where I can perform my music? For example, a nice concert hall, garden, museum, castle, theater, living room, church, studio, or any other type of venue? I’d love to hear about it. Or do you know someone who organizes events at interesting places or is enthusiastic about organizing concerts, whom you think I should definitely get in touch with? I’d love to hear about them too.
It doesn’t matter where in the Netherlands (or maybe even abroad?), I’ll come to you. To give you an impression of the music, I’ve cut 30-second snippets from each track that you can already listen to via this private link. I prefer not to give away too much about what I’m going to release just yet, but I understand that it’s easier to talk about when you know what kind of music it is. Enter a world of harmony, where cellist, singer, and composer Carly E (Carlijn van Wijk), along with neoclassical producer and pianist Cedric Vermue, brings her solo debut album “Natural” to life. Carly E (Carlijn van Wijk) has been playing cello and singing from a young age. When she moved to London and Buenos Aires, she bid farewell to her classical music career and became a solo artist. She has conquered many stages with her original cello music, including the DeLaMar Theater and TedX. Her solo debut album “Natural” will be released in September 2024.
